Welcome Finley Families!

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I welcome you to a new school year at Finley Elementary! I am honored to join this incredible community and look forward to getting to know each of you. As an educator, a first-generation college graduate, and a multilingual learner, I deeply believe that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential. I can't wait to partner with you as we help our students learn, grow, and thrive.

This year brings many exciting opportunities. We are launching our new math curriculum and look forward to offering family math workshops so we can work together to support every child's mathematical thinking. We are also excited to welcome our first-grade students into the next phase of our Dual Language program and to begin our new Folklórico program, celebrating the rich cultures of our community.

We are incredibly proud that Finley has earned the PBIS Gold Recognition, a reflection of our students, staff, and families working together to create a positive school culture. This year, we will continue building on that success as we work toward Platinum recognition.

Thank you for welcoming me into the Finley family. I know this will be an amazing year filled with learning, joy, and unforgettable memories. Together, we will help every student shine!

¡Es un honor y una gran alegría darles la bienvenida a un nuevo año escolar en la Escuela Primaria Finley! Me siento muy agradecida de unirme a esta maravillosa comunidad y espero conocer a cada una de nuestras familias. Como educadora, primera generación en graduarme de la universidad y estudiante multilingüe, creo profundamente que cada niño merece sentirse valorado, apoyado e inspirado para alcanzar su máximo potencial. Espero trabajar de la mano con ustedes para ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a aprender, crecer y tener éxito.

Este año nos esperan muchas oportunidades emocionantes. Iniciaremos nuestro nuevo programa de matemáticas y ofreceremos talleres para familias para que, juntos, apoyemos el aprendizaje matemático de nuestros estudiantes. También nos emociona dar la bienvenida a nuestros estudiantes de primer grado a la siguiente etapa de nuestro programa de Doble Inmersión y comenzar nuestro nuevo programa de Folklórico, celebrando la riqueza cultural de nuestra comunidad.

Nos sentimos muy orgullosos de que Finley haya recibido el reconocimiento PBIS Gold, un logro que refleja el compromiso de nuestros estudiantes, personal y familias por mantener una cultura escolar positiva. Este año seguiremos trabajando juntos con la meta de alcanzar el reconocimiento Platinum.

Gracias por darme la bienvenida a la familia Finley. Estoy segura de que este será un año lleno de aprendizaje, alegría y grandes logros para todos.

Tôi rất vinh dự và vui mừng được chào đón quý vị đến với một năm học mới tại Trường Tiểu học Finley! Tôi rất biết ơn khi được trở thành một phần của cộng đồng tuyệt vời này và mong sớm được gặp gỡ từng gia đình. Là một nhà giáo dục, một người đầu tiên trong gia đình tốt nghiệp đại học và từng là người học đa ngôn ngữ, tôi luôn tin rằng mọi học sinh đều xứng đáng được yêu thương, tôn trọng và truyền cảm hứng để phát huy hết tiềm năng của mình. Tôi mong được đồng hành cùng quý vị để giúp các em học tập, trưởng thành và thành công.

Năm học này mang đến nhiều điều thú vị. Chúng tôi sẽ triển khai chương trình toán học mới và tổ chức các buổi hội thảo toán dành cho phụ huynh để cùng nhau hỗ trợ việc học của học sinh. Chúng tôi cũng rất vui mừng khi học sinh lớp Một sẽ tham gia giai đoạn tiếp theo của chương trình Song ngữ và khi trường bắt đầu chương trình múa dân gian Folklórico nhằm tôn vinh sự đa dạng văn hóa của cộng đồng.

Chúng tôi vô cùng tự hào khi Finley đạt được danh hiệu PBIS Gold, minh chứng cho sự hợp tác của học sinh, nhân viên và gia đình trong việc xây dựng một môi trường học tập tích cực. Trong năm học này, chúng tôi sẽ tiếp tục nỗ lực hướng đến mục tiêu đạt danh hiệu PBIS Platinum.
