Welcome Finley Families!

I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you as we embark on another exciting academic year at Finley Computer Science Magnet School. As Principal of this remarkable school, it is both an honor and a privilege to continue being part of a community that values excellence in education, innovation, and personal growth.

At Finley, our commitment remains steadfast in preparing our students for the challenges and opportunities of the rapidly evolving digital world. Our dedicated faculty, staff, and administrators work tirelessly to provide a nurturing environment where your children can develop essential computer science skills while embracing a well-rounded education. We continue to focus on fostering their intellectual curiosity, critical thinking abilities, and creativity, ensuring they are well-prepared for success in the modern age.

We are also excited to share updates on our ongoing efforts to modernize our school facilities. This summer, we completed significant upgrades, including the installation of air conditioning, new carpet, and windows in the Kindergarten classrooms and the main office. These improvements are part of a broader modernization project that will continue through the end of the year, ensuring our learning environments are comfortable, up-to-date, and conducive to student success.

This year, we are excited to reinforce our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework with our new slogan: SOAR to Success. This guiding principle stands for:
